ARE YOU AWARE?
In October of 2022, Northern York County Fire Rescue made a major change in how we handle emergency calls. We hired paid firefighters during the day Monday through Friday. This was a major step in protecting our neighbors and business owners in the Dilsburg area. The number of volunteer firefighters is dwindling more and more every day, but most of the emergency calls are still answered by volunteers, saving taxpayers thousands of
dollars. Our firefighters are continually training to operate the apparatus and review the skills ensuring your community is safe and protected.
We responded to over 472 fire and rescue calls last year!
Your donation stays in the community where it does your family the most good. No other donation you make has more potential to help your family during an emergency in your home.
We do more than firefighting!
We are there for rescues, vehicle accidents, floods, and many other types of emergencies, as well as providing fire prevention tours and education to the community.
Your donation is 100% tax-deductible!
Northern York County Fire Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization. Your dollars are used for three primary reasons: to help us maintain and upgrade our stations, to buy new equipment, and to fund advanced training opportunities for our members.
